Re-Pin and Stringing
Sometimes strings may break while
tuning, through no fault of the tuner, but rather due to
the age and general wear and tear of the piano. We can replace individual
bass or treble strings or
we can fully re-string upright and grand pianos as follows:
- Remove Old Strings and Wrestpins
- Repair Soundboard if Necessary
- Varnish Soundboard
- Re-Spray Frame
- Fit New Wrestpins
- Fit New Bass Strings Made To Pattern
- Fit New Steel Strings
- Fit New Listing Felt
- Chip up to Concert Pitch
- Piano Fine Tuned Continually Prior to Redelivery
